Publish time:2023-07-15

Environmental Protection

Yongbao EP launched a company-wide campaign to promote energy conservation and low-carbon practices during national energy conservation week, aligning with this year’s theme of a shared journey in energy saving and carbon reduction, running from July 10 to 16. The program aims to enhance internal awareness, reinforce the company’s research in waste-to-resource technology, and support the transition toward a greener, low-carbon future.

Practical Energy-Saving Actions in Place

Yongbao EP has implemented effective measures to reduce electricity consumption. Guidelines optimize central air conditioning use, promote computer power management, encourage turning off lights, and maximize natural lighting.

These efforts have yielded significant results in the first half of 2023: compared to initial targets, electricity use dropped by 2.2% in the southern plant and 7.3% in the northern plant, with the southern plant also achieving a 9% reduction compared to the same period in 2022.

Efficient Water Management

The company emphasizes the precious value of water. Practices include rational drinking water consumption, using recycled water for irrigation, and proactive measures to prevent leaks, ensuring every drop is valued and utilized.

Efficient Paper Management

For paper use, Yongbao promotes a digital-first office policy, double-sided printing, and repurposing used paper for notes and drafts to minimize waste. This approach minimizes waste and supports its low-carbon goals.

Looking ahead, Yongbao EP will continue to elevate employee awareness and champion green lifestyles across the organization.

The company calls on every team member to act as an advocate, practitioner, and pioneer in energy conservation and low-carbon action, contributing to the accelerated transition toward a fully green economy.
